

	[05/15] 어린이들을 사랑하시며 귀중히 여기시는 예수님 (마 18:1-6, 19: 13-15, 막 10:14-16) - 암미 선교교회 Jesus who loves children and threats them as valuable - Ammi Mission Church

It is so good for me to come back here again today to meet my dear friends from many different foreign countries and to worship God together with you. I have come here 17th times during the past 12 years since 2010. Today I have come here 18th time and I am going to deliver a message entitled as “Jesus who loves children and threats them as valuable.” Pastor Gloria (Young Ae) Kim told me that it would be good for me to deliver a message about “Jesus who loves children.

제가 오늘 여기 다시 와서 여러 나라에서 온 사랑하는 친구들을 만나고 여러분들과 함께 하나님께 예배를 드리게 되어서 아주 좋습니다. 제가 2010년부터 12년 동안에 여기 17번 왔습니다. 제가 오늘 여기 18번 째로 와서 “어린이들을 사랑하시며 귀중히 여기시는 예수님” 이라는 제목의 설교를 하게 되었습니다. 김영애 선교사님이 “어린이들을 사랑하시는 예수님” 이라는 제목의 제목으로 설교를 하는 것이 좋다고 했습니다.

Jesus the Son of God was somewhat strange person. It is because Jesus the Son of God said as the following. "You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy. But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you”(Matt 5:43,44). “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I desire mercy, not sacrifice. For I have not come to call the righteous but sinners.”(Matt 9:12,13)

성자 예수님은 좀 이상한 분이시라고 생각합니다. 성자 예수님께서 다음과 같은 말씀을 하셨기 때문입니다. “네 이웃을 사랑하고 네 원수를 미워하라 하였다는 것을 너희가 들었으나 나는 너희에게 이르노니 너희 원수를 사랑하며 너희를 핍박하는 자를 위하여 기도하라”(마 5:43,44). “건강한 자에게는 의원이 쓸데없고 병든 자에게라야 쓸데 있느니라 너희는 가서 내가 긍휼을 원하고 제사를 원치 아니하노라 하신 뜻이 무엇인지 배우라 내가 의인을 부르러 온 것이 아니요 죄인을 부르러 왔노라 하시니라”(마 9:12,13).

Jesus the Son of God continued to say that he loves children and treats them as valuable. “At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? He called a little child and had him stand among them. And he said: I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me. But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.”(Matt 18:1-6). “Then little children were brought to Jesus for him to place his hands on them and pray for them. But the disciples rebuked those who brought them. Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these. When he had placed his hands on them, he went on from there.”(Matt 19:13-15).

성자 예수님께서는 계속해서 자기는 어린이들을 사랑하시고 귀중하게 여기신다는 말씀을 하셨습니다. “그 때에 제자들이 예수께 나아와 가로되 천국에서는 누가 크니이까 예수께서 한 어린 아이를 불러 저희 가운데 세우시고 가라사대 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 너희가 돌이켜 어린 아이들과 같이 되지 아니하면 결단코 천국에 들어가지 못하리라 그러므로 누구든지 이 어린 아이와 같이 자기를 낮추는 그이가 천국에서 큰 자니라 또 누구든지 내 이름으로 이런 어린 아이 하나를 영접하면 곧 나를 영접함이니 누구든지 나를 믿는 이 소자 중 하나를 실족케 하면 차라리 연자 맷돌을 그 목에 달리우고 깊은 바다에 빠뜨리우는 것이 나으니라”(마 18:1-6). “때에 사람들이 예수의 안수하고 기도하심을 바라고 어린 아이들을 데리고 오매 제자들이 꾸짖거늘 예수께서 가라사대 어린 아이들을 용납하고 내게 오는 것을 금하지 말라 천국이 이런 자의 것이니라 하시고 저희 위에 안수하시고 거기서 떠나시니라”(마 19: 13-15).

“When Jesus looked up and saw a great crowd coming toward him, he said to Philip, ‘Where shall we buy bread for these people to eat?’ He asked this only to test him, for he already had in mind what he was going to do. Philip answered him, ‘Eight months' wages would not buy enough bread for each one to have a bite!’ Another of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, spoke up, ‘Here is a boy with five small barley loaves and two small fish, but how far will they go among so many?’ Jesus said, ‘Have the people sit down.’ There was plenty of grass in that place, and the men sat down, about five thousand of them. Jesus then took the loaves, gave thanks, and distributed to those who were seated as much as they wanted. He did the same with the fish. When they had all had enough to eat, he said to his disciples, ‘Gather the pieces that are left over. Let nothing be wasted.’ So they gathered them and filled twelve baskets with the pieces of the five barley loaves left over by those who had eaten. After the people saw the miraculous sign that Jesus did, they began to say, ‘Surely this is the Prophet who is to come into the world.’ Jesus, knowing that they intended to come and make him king by force, withdrew again to a mountain by himself.(John 6:5-15).

“예수께서 눈을 들어 큰 무리가 자기에게로 오는 것을 보시고 빌립에게 이르시되 ‘우리가 어디서 떡을 사서 이 사람들로 먹게 하겠느냐’ 하시니 이렇게 말씀하심은 친히 어떻게 하실 것을 아시고 빌립을 시험코자 하심이라 빌립이 대답하되 ‘각 사람으로 조금씩 받게 할찌라도 이백 데나리온의 떡이 부족하리이다’ 제자 중 하나 곧 시몬 베드로의 형제 안드레가 예수께 여짜오되 ‘여기 한 아이가 있어 보리떡 다섯 개와 물고기 두 마리를 가졌나이다 그러나 그것이 이 많은 사람에게 얼마나 되겠삽나이까’ 예수께서 가라사대 ‘이 사람들로 앉게 하라 하신대’ 그 곳에 잔디가 많은지라 사람들이 앉으니 수효가 오천쯤 되더라 예수께서 떡을 가져 축사하신 후에 앉은 자들에게 나눠 주시고 고기도 그렇게 저희의 원대로 주시다 저희가 배부른 후에 예수께서 제자들에게 이르시되 남은 조각을 거두고 버리는 것이 없게 하라 하시므로 이에 거두니 보리떡 다섯 개로 먹고 남은 조각이 열 두 바구니에 찼더라 그 사람들이 예수의 행하신 이 표적을 보고 말하되 이는 참으로 세상에 오실 그 선지자라 하더라 그러므로 예수께서 저희가 와서 자기를 억지로 잡아 임금 삼으려는 줄을 아시고 다시 혼자 산으로 떠나 가시니라”(요 6:5-15).

It was really amazing thing that Jesus the Son of God who received from a small boy five small barley loaves and two small fish was so much happy and grateful to bless the gathered crowd about five thousand peoples. The small boy could not forget the amazing thing and continue to confess the amazing events.

어린 아이를 만나서 오병 이어를 받으신 성자 예수님께서 아주 많이 행복하시고 고마워하시면서 거기 모인 오천 여명의 군중을 먹이신 일은 참으로 놀라운 일이었다고 생각합니다. 그 어린 아이는 그 놀라운 일을 잊을 수가 없었을 것이고 계속해서 놀라운 일들을 간증을 했을 것입니다.

Peoples continued to bring children to Jesus, Mammies of the children continued to bring them to Jesus, Mammies wanted that Jesus touched and blessed their children. However, the disciples of Jesus did not like children’s coming to Jesus. They even rebuked them

사람들이 계속해서 어린이들을 예수님에게 데려왔습니다. 어린이들의 엄마들이 어린이들을 예수님에게 데려왔습니다. 엄마들이 예수님께서 어이들을 만져 주시고 축복해 주시기를 바랬습니다. 그런데 예수님의 제자들은 어린이들이 예수님에게 오는 것을 싫어했습니다. 제자들이 꾸짖기까지 했습니다.

When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it. And he took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them.”(Mark 10:14-16).

예수님께서 그것을 보시고 분히 여기셨습니다. 그리고 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다, “어린 아이들의 내게 오는 것을 용납하고 금하지 말라 하나님의 나라가 이런 자의 것이니라 내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 누구든지 하나님의 나라를 어린 아이와 같이 받들지 않는 자는 결단코 들어가지 못하리라 하시고 그 어린 아이들을 안고 저희 위에 안수하시고 축복하시니라”(막 10:14-16).

Jesus the Son of God liked and loved the children so much. We have to learn this important truth of bringing children to Jesus the Son of God. We are therefore singing as the following. “When we go to Jesus, we are rejoicing. We are really rejoicing without worries and without fears. We are really rejoicing. Jesus called a child like me.”

성자 예수님께서는 어린 아이들을 너무 좋아하시고 사랑하셨습니다. 우리 들은 어린 아이들을 성자 예수님에게 데려와야 하는 귀중한 진리를 배워야 할 것입니다. 그래서 우리는 이렇게 노래를 부릅니다. “예수께로 가면 나는 기뻐요 걱정 근심 없고 정말 즐거워 예수께로 가면 나는 기뻐요 나와 같은 아이 부르셨어요.”

When I was engaged in the ministry of serving the Kangbyun church during the 28 years I did my best loving the church members and especially loving the children. I loved the children very much and the children loved me very much. Before I begin the Sunday worship service at 11 o’clock I visited most of the children’s meetings and met most of them. Most of the children were very much glad to meet me and some of them asked me to hold them continually. I continued to hold them. Some of the children participated in the evening worship service. They recited the Bible and praised hymns.

제가 강변교회에서 28년 동안 목회하면서 주력한 것은 교인들을 사랑하는데 주력한 것이었고 특히 어린이들을 사랑하는데 주력한 것이었습니다. 저는 어린이들을 아주 많이 사랑했고 어린이들은 저를 아주 많이 사랑했습니다. 제가 주일 아침마다 11시 예배를 시작하기 전에 어린이들 모임에 거의 전부 참여하곤 했는데 대부분의 어린이들은 저를 만나는 것을 아주 좋아했고 어떤 어린이들은 계속해서 안아 달라고 졸랐습니다. 그래서 저는 계속해서 어린이들을 안아주곤 했습니다. 어떤 어린이들은 저녁 예배까지 참석했는데 성경 암송도 하고 노래도 했습니다.

In a certain day of summer, the children of the church were going to Yang Pyung to participate in the Summer Bible Studies, A bus was waiting for the children. I went up to the bus and prayed for the children. The children were shouting that I should go to Yang Pyung together with them. I told them that I did not prepare to go with them. The children shouted again that I should go home and prepare and come to Yang Pyung. I said yes and came to my office.

어느 해 여름 어느 날 유년부 어린이들이 양평으로 여름 성경 수련회를 하려고 떠나려고 했습니다. 버스가 와서 어린이들을 기다리고 있었습니다. 제가 버스에 올라가서 어린이들을 배웅하며 기도를 해주었습니다. 그 때 어린이들이 목사님도 그들과 함께 양평으로 가자고 소리를 질렀습니다. 그래서 나는 짐도 싸지 않았는데 어떻게 갈 수 있느냐고 말했습니다. 그 때 어린이들은 다시 나보고 빨리 집에 가서 짐을 싸 가지고 양평으로 오라고 했습니다. 저는 그렇게 하겠다고 말하고 사무실로 왔습니다.

After I was thinking about the children I drove my car to Yang Pyung. I entered to the room where the children were staying together. The children were shouting as the following, “The pastor kept promises.” I spent a few hours playing with the children. When I was about to come back to my office the children shouted that I should not go back to my office and stay there with them. When I asked where I could sleep, two children (Eunjung and Harim) answered that I could sleep between two of them. The teachers of the children were very much glad to hear.

저는 어린이들을 생각하다가 양평으로 차를 타고 달려갔습니다. 유년부 어린이들이 함께 모여있는 방으로 들어가자 어린이들은 소리를 질렀습니다. “야, 목사님이 약속을 지켰다!” 저는 어린이들과 몇 시간 동안 함께 놀면서 즐거운 시간을 가졌습니다. 얼마 후에 제가 사무실로 돌아가려고 하자 어린이들은 돌아가지 말고 저들과 함께 머물라고 했습니다. 그래서 내가 어디서 자겠느냐 라고 하자 두 어린이들이(은정이와 하림이가) 우리 둘 사이에서 자면 되잖아요 라고 했습니다. 그 말을 들은 선생님들이 너무너무 재미있어 했습니다.

When I visited USA for a while a little child(Wonjoo) came to the church and was seeking for me for a while. Wonjoo asked her mother where the pastor was. Her mother answered that the pastor went to USA. Wonjoo was weeping and crying. When I returned from USA I called Wonjoo by telephone. Wonjoo asked me whether I was in USA or in the Kangbyun Church. When I said I was in Kangbyun Church Wonjoo was so much happy and came to the church. She was holding me tightly.

제가 잠깐 미국에 간 동안 원주 라는 어린 아이는 교회에 와서 이곳 저곳을 다니면서 저를 찾았다고 합니다. 원주가 엄마 보고 목사님 어디 있어? 라고 물었더니 목사님이 미국 갔다고 대답을 했습니다. 원주는 눈물을 흘리면서 울었습니다. 제가 미국에서 돌아와서 원주에게 전화를 했습니다. 원주가 전화를 하면서 내가 지금 미국에 있는지 강변교회에 있는지를 물었습니다. 제가 지금 강변교회에 있다고 했더니 원주는 아주 행복하고 기뻐하면서 교회로 달려왔습니다. 그리고 저를 꼭 안았습니다.

I loved the children of the church very much and the children of the church loved me very much. There were much letters sent and received by us. I am going to introduce some of the loving letters.

저는 교회의 어린이들을 아주 많이 사랑했고 교회의 어린이들은 저를 아주 많이 사랑했습니다. 우리들이 주고받은 편지들이 아주 많았습니다. 사랑의 편지들 일부를 소개합니다.

“Dear pastor. I love you pastor. Be healthy. I envy the church most. Thank you very much for your loving me and embracing me. I miss you. Thank you for your giving me pretty stickers. Thank you for your delivering words of God. Thank you for your loving my younger brother, Be very smart. Joo Eun”

“사랑하는 목사님에게. 목사님 사랑해요. 건강하세요. 전 교회가 제일 그리워요. 그동안 예뻐해 주시고 안아 주셔서 감사합니다. 보고 싶어요. 예쁜 스티커 주셔서 감사합니다. 하나님 말씀 들려주셔서 고맙습니다. 동생 예뻐해 주셔서 고맙습니다. 멋 지세요 주은이가”

“Dear Pastor ♡ I love you. May God bless you very much. I entered in the primary school. It is difficult to make friends. Pray for me. The churches here are not doing Bible studies. Pray for the churches so that they could become like Kang Byun Church. Joo Eun”

“Dear Pastor, my dream has become big. My dream was thinking about receiving gifts in Christmas seasons. After I heard the message of God I have become different. I have learned that even though the message of Christmas was the happy news of the birth of Jesus, it was also sorrowful and painful news of the dying of Jesus on the cross. Therefore, I wanted to possess a pure heart of repentance and gratitude to Jesus instead of asking all kinds of gifts on this Christmas season. Sung Hae Jin”

“사랑하는 목사님, 제 꿈이 커졌어요. 저의 꿈은 성탄절을 맞으면서 선물을 먼저 생각하는 것이었어요. 설교 말씀을 듣고 나서 달라졌어요. 예수님께서 태어나신 건 좋은 소식이지만 우리 죄를 위해서 십자가에 달려서 돌아가실 분이었기 때문에 슬픈 사실이라는 사실을 알게 되었어요. 결국 이번 성탄말에는 모든 종류의 성탄 선물을 추구하는 대신 예수님께 대한 회개와 감사의 순수한 마을을 지니는 것이라는 것이라고 알게 되었습니다. 성혜진 몰림”

“Dear Pastor, how are you. I would like to become a pastor when I grow up. When you want to become a pastor, I think that you have to read recite and write Bible much. I think it would be difficult to become a pastor. Dear Pastor, how did you become a pastor? I think you believed God so much and you red recited and wrote the Bible so much. I think you are the most excellent pastor. I would like to become a pastor when I grow up. Sung Hae Jin”

“목사님 안녕하세요. 저도 커서 목사님이 되고 싶어요. 목사님이 되고 싶으면 성경을 많이 읽고 외우고 쓰고 그래야겠죠. 그렇지만 참 어려울 것 같아요. 목사님! 목사님은 어떻게 목사님이 되셨어요. 목사님은 분명히 하나님을 많이 믿고, 성경을 많이 읽고 외우고 쓰셨죠. 목사님은 세상에서 가장 훌륭한 목사님 같아요. 저는 자라서 꼭 목사님이 되고 싶어요. 성혜진 올림 2001.3.6”

At the Thanksgiving Day after my retirement I visited the Kang Byun Church and preached. The children of the church wrote me loving letters. I am going to quote some of them.

제가 강변교회에서 은퇴한 다음 추수감사주일에 강변교회를 방문해서 설교를 했습니다. 교회의 어린이들이 사랑의 편지들을 써서 주었는데 그 일부를 소개합니다.

“Pastor Kim Myung Hyuk. You have already left Kang Byun Church one year ago. I have kept hearty love towards you who had left North Korea when you were 11 years old. Pastor, I love you very much. You were giving me stickers when I was very young. Since you left the church I was missing you so much. I am so glad and happy to meet you again. Thank you again for your loving me. I love you very much. With love, Keum Chan Hoo”

“김명혁 목사님께. 목사님, 벌써 목사님께서 이 교회를 떠난지 1년이 다 되어 가는군요. 저는 11살 때 탈북 하신 목사님께 대한 사랑을 가슴에 지니고 있었습니다. 목사님 정말 사랑해요. 목사님께서 제가 어렸을 적부터 저에게 항상 스티커를 주시곤 하셨죠. 목사님께서 교회를 떠나신 다음 저는 목사님이 너무 그립곤 했어요. 오늘 다시 만나게 되어서 참 반가웠어요. 지난 날 저를 사랑해주셔서 감사합니다. 아주 많이 사랑해요!! 목사님을 사랑하는 금찬후 올림”

The most precious and happy thing is embracing and loving the children. It was because Jesus the Son of God was embracing and loving the children. Jesus the Son of God said as the following. "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these”(Matt 19:14). “I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.”(Matt 25:40). "Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life."(Matt 19:14).

가장 귀중하고 행복한 일은 어린이들을 안아주며 사랑하는 일이라고 생각합니다. 성자 예수님께서 어린이들을 안아주며 사랑하셨기 때문입니다. 성자 예수님께서 다음과 같이 말씀하셨습니다. “어린 아이들을 용납하고 내게 오는 것을 금하지 말라 천국이 이런 자의 것이니라”(마 19: 14). 내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 너희가 여기 내 형제 중에 지극히 작은 자 하나에게 한 것이 곧 내게 한 것이니라”(마 25:40). “내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 이 지극히 작은 자 하나에게 하지 아니한 것이 곧 내게 하지 아니한 것이니라 하시리니 저희는 영벌에, 의인들은 영생에 들어가리라 하시니라”(마 25:45,46).

We hope and wish that all of us become the faithful servants of the Lord Jesus who embraces and loves the children. We grownup adults are really hoping that we could believe and love God like simple and honest children. We really hope and wish that we could love the children and we could be like the children. Shall we sing the hymn together “When you go to Jesus, I am delighted”

우리들은 모두 어린이들을 귀여워하고 사랑하는 주님의 제자들이 다 되시기를 바라고 소원합니다. 우리 어른들은 모두 어린 아이들처럼 단순하고 순수하게 하나님과 예수님을 믿고 사랑하게 되기를 바랍니다. 우리들은 정말 어린이들을 사랑하게 되고 그리고 어린이들처럼 되기를 바라고 소원합니다. “예수께로 가면 나는 기뻐요” 찬송을 함께 부르시겠습니다.
